About

Electronics Recycling Bristol

If you need electronics recycling Bristol, I offer a secure, compliant and fully licensed service for businesses that need old or unwanted electronics recycled properly. Whether you’re clearing computers, monitors, servers, telecoms equipment, printers or mixed commercial electronics, I handle everything personally. Companies choose my electronics recycling Bristol service because it’s reliable, data‑secure and carried out by someone who actually turns up when they say they will.

All recycling work follows strict UK WEEE regulations, and every item is taken to licensed treatment facilities. I also prioritise upcycling and reuse wherever possible, supporting the circular economy and reducing unnecessary waste. If electronics can be refurbished, repurposed or upcycled, I make sure they’re given a second life before they go into the recycling stream.

For devices containing data, I provide secure hard‑drive wiping and GDPR‑compliant data destruction. This protects your business from data breaches and ensures full legal compliance. You can read the government’s guidance on WEEE responsibilities here: GOV.UK WEEE Regulations.

What I Recycle During Electronics Recycling Bristol

My electronics recycling Bristol service covers all types of commercial electronics and IT hardware. This includes computers, laptops, monitors, printers, servers, networking equipment, telecoms systems, POS systems, tablets, chargers and mixed electronics. Whether the items are working, outdated or completely broken, I recycle everything safely and legally.

I also handle specialist corporate IT equipment such as server racks, UPS units, switches, routers, CCTV systems and access control hardware. All items are transported securely with a clear chain of custody, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and WEEE legislation.

Where possible, I prioritise upcycling and reuse. Many businesses upgrade electronics long before they stop working, so I make sure reusable devices are diverted to refurbishment partners rather than being scrapped unnecessarily. This reduces waste and supports sustainable business practices.

Why Businesses Choose My Electronics Recycling Bristol Service

Businesses choose my service because it’s fast, flexible and fully compliant. I work around your schedule — early mornings, evenings or weekends if needed — to avoid disrupting your operations. You get a licensed waste carrier who understands commercial IT, data security and environmental responsibility.

Communication is simple because you deal directly with me. I turn up when I say I will, recycle everything properly and provide peace of mind that your electronics are handled responsibly from start to finish.

How to pack boxes

To ensure a seamless moving experience, we ask our customers to have their boxes packed and ready.

  • Keep the weight down. If it fits in a box, it should be in a box. Make sure boxes are full and securely sealed.  Please don't overload a box as we have lots of lifting to do.
  • Proper Packing: Use plenty of packing material at the bottom and top of each box. Suitable materials include crumpled paper, pillows, cushions, and bedding.
  • Avoid Rattling: Items should be snug and immobile to prevent breakage.
  • Vertical Packing: Always pack plates, stemmed glasses, and pictures vertically.
  • Weight Distribution: Place heavy items like books, vinyl records, toiletries, food, drinks, and linens in smaller boxes. Use larger boxes for lighter items. If a box starts to get too heavy, top it off with lighter items.
  • Fill to the Top: Ensure boxes are filled to the top to prevent crushing.
  • Lamp Packing: Remove lampshades from lamps to make them easier to pack.
  • Bagging Soft Furnishings: Soft furnishings can go in sturdy black bags, but avoid using carrier bags. We do not accept fragile items in any bags.

Following these guidelines will help ensure a happy and efficient removal crew.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
